On the Bookshelf

Currently on my "bookshelf" I have found a couple of interesting articles related to information literacy. I am a big proponent for sticking up for under-represented groups of people, so most of the readings have sort of a social justice edge to them.

Adetoro, N. 2012. Alternative format preferences among secondary school visually impaired students in Nigeria. Journal of Librarianship and Information Science. 44(2): 90-96

Hedreen, R. 2012. Time Zones, Screencasts, and Becoming Real: One Distant Librarian's Experiences and Lessons Learned. 18(1).

Lopez, A. 2008. Circling the Cross: Bridging Native America, Education, and Digital Media. Learning Race and Ethnicity: Youth and Digital Media. 109-129

That's my light-reading for the week.
