Spotlight: Librarian Bloggers I Follow
Below are the summaries of the current librarian bloggers I have been following. These summaries can also be found under the "Blogs" page on this site!
Buffy Hamilton :: The Unquiet Librarian
The Unquiet Librarian currently works in the Cleveland Public Library in Cleveland, OH as the Learning Strategists. She also was a high school librarian and high school English teacher. I enjoy following The Unquiet Librarian due to her past experience of working high school students, along with her current work in participatory learning, social media and ethnography.
David Lee King :: David Lee King
David Lee King works at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library in Topeka, Kanasas as the Digital Services director. David Lee King is interested in marketing, web design, experimenting, usability evaluation, and basic anything that interests him. I find that I have a lot the same interests, and enjoy hearing his take on things.
Carolyn Foote :: Not So Distant Future
Carolyn Foote is a high school librarian in Austin, TX at a big suburban public school. She is interested in how web 2.0 can change teaching and libraries.
Jessica Olin :: Letters to a Young Librarian
Jessica Olin works for a small private liberal arts college in the Midwest as the instruction librarian and coordinator. I find her blog helpful and reassuring as a "coming of age" librarian.
